About Us

Big Country Equipment is a BC-based heavy equipment service repair company that works with resource-based customers in the construction, forestry, mining and oil and gas sectors in Western Canada. In most cases, we’ll come to you to service your equipment on site, but we can also work out of our 6000 sq. ft. service facility in Kamloops, BC.

No Challenge Too Big

Our Mission

Our mission is to serve our customers, helping them to be successful through our business relationship. We accomplish this mission daily by providing a diverse range of complementary service offerings, all with a focus on expediting the return of equipment into service. Regardless of the equipment challenge, when you engage us, we’ll find a solution that gets you back on track.

Making Our Mark

Our History

Big Country Equipment was established in 2017, when our owner and founder, Spencer Harrison, fulfilled his dream of owning a service truck and offering his expertise to customers in the resources industry. Since then, we’ve experienced rapid growth, evolving from a one-truck operation to a team of over 100 employees and a fleet of 25 fully-equipped service trucks, dedicated to serving customers throughout Western Canada 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
